May The Words Of My Mouth And The Meditation Of My Heart Be Pleasing To You, O Lord

The Perfect Revelation Of The Lord

PSALM 19:14
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.
”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭19:14‬ ‭NKJV‬

David, fully aware that God knows his every thought, his every word, and his every action, he asks that God approve his words and reflections as though they were offerings brought to the altar.
Would you change the way you live if you thought your every word and thought would be examined by God?
Paul said, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
To present your body holy is totally without fault or mistake in any way, shape, or form, and a “living sacrifice” is submitting to God’s will.
Even though we cannot reach the mark of holiness in our own capacity, it is giving oneself to service and allowing God to start the good work of transformation in you. Not being “conformed” to this world, but to be “transformed”, which is to separate from the things of this world, not participating in its immoral ways, and cooperating with God, allowing Him to renew your mind, removing all the false beliefs, lies, and “old wives tales (1 TIMOTHY 4:7) that are passed on through the generations. It is to remove the addictions, and sinful desires that you inherited throughout your life; it is to allow God change the way you think and respond to the trials and challenges of life, and how you presents yourself in the presence of others, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and the perfect will of God in your life.
That is to change even the way you think, that your thoughts, words, responses, and actions, become to be in the likeness of Jesus Christ in love, for God is love (1 JOHN 4:16).
His way of life is based on love, and all the Laws and the prophets stand on the two greatest commandments of all, ”’You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”“
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭37‬-‭40‬ ‭NKJV
We cannot do this in our own strength. But Jesus said, ““If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:15-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
God has sent His Holy Spirit to live within each and every one of His people, to lead, guide, and help them to walk the right path. Furthermore, He will never leave us orphans, and He is our guarantee of salvation 2 CORINTHIANS 1:22; EPHESIANS 1:14).
But having received the Spirit, we have a choice to walk in the Spirit or not.
The flesh is never quick to give up it’s place, and a battle begins within.
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:16-26‬ ‭NKJV‬
Written by David, Psalm 19, is the perfect revelation of the Lord, culminating in a personal prayer for sanctification.
It moves from the cosmic heavens declaring God's power to the inner heart needing purification, showing how creation itself points to a Creator and His law transforms the soul.
Verses 1-6, speaks of the heavens, sky, day, and night, and are described as speaking a silent, universal language that reveals God's craftsmanship and glory to all humanity.
The sun is highlighted as a powerful, joyful witness, crossing the sky like a bridegroom or strong runner.
The focus shifts in verses 7-10, to God's "Law" or torah (instruction).
It is described as perfect, trustworthy, right, and pure, bringing refreshment, wisdom, joy, and enlightenment. It is more desirable than gold and sweeter than honey.
But verses 11-14 brings warning, highlighting the need for repentance.
David asks for cleansing from "hidden faults", sins that are unaware to him, and protection from "presumptuous" (willful) sins.
These Scriptures apply to us believers today and like David, we must ask God to reveal the hidden sin within, and cleanse and reshape us to holiness.
The Psalm concludes with a plea for both spoken words and inner thoughts to be acceptable to God, his "Rock and Redeemer".
My beloved, make this psalm your own, speak out the perfect revelation of the Lord, and make it your plea for holiness, that all your words and the meditations of your heart be acceptible in the sight of the Lord, our Strength and redeemer.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like a strong man to run its race. Its rising is from one end of heaven, And its circuit to the other end; And there is nothing hidden from its heat. The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭19‬:‭1‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please like and share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
God bless you all.
