Whatever A Man Sows, This He Will Also Reap
You Shall Harvest Blessings Or Cursing
GALATIANS 6:7-8
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.”
Galatians 6:7-8 NKJV

It is easy to understand, that what you sow determines what you reap.
If you plant strawberries, you wouldn’t expect to harvest potatoes. So it is common sense to know, if you plant evil, you shall harvest evil.
Every action whether good or evil comes with consequences; that is called justice.
Many believe that our good deeds can override our evil deeds and that God’s grace is enough, but the truth is, grace cannot override justice, if it did, Jesus would not of needed to die for us.
We could drive our cars for years faultlessly, but if we get just one speeding fine, the fine still needs to be paid; that is justice according to the law.
The same applies to our sins, no matter how much good we achieve in our lifetime, our debt of sin must be paid to justify our eternal future.
Thank God for Jesus, who came not to condemn, but rather to pay our fine with His own blood (JOHN 3:16).
He came in human form and died a sinners death on a cross to pay our debt of sin, but we must apply His blood to our lives to receive His pardon.
Only by faith in Jesus can one receive the gift of life.
He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 NKJV
No other religion or organisation deals with or can deal with the problem of sin, only Jesus and there really isn’t another way to our Father in heaven except through Him.
My beloved, since Jesus died to save us from the curse of sin, surely we cannot expect to be able to continue in it; we must repent and make every effort to sin no more.
But God, knowing our weaknesses, even helps us in this, for He sent His holy Spirit to help us all the way in our walk with Him.
Jesus said, ““If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”
John 14:15-18 NKJV
Having received the gift of the Holy Spirit, He shall lead us in all truth (JOHN 16:13), but He will not take away one’s free will.
If one involves in gossip, he or she will loose friends. If one invest his money unwisely, he will face poverty. If one follows the passions of the flesh, it will lead him or her to eternal death.
The flesh craves for its food; material blessings, money, sexual gratification, lifestyle, status, and anything else it sees as pleasing. And yes our flesh needs it’s food to survive, but there must be discipline and balance.
If we bow to every craving of the flesh or overindulge, it will take you to a life of immorality, sickness, anxiety, depression, dependancy, and eventually, eternal death.
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
Galatians 5:16-26 NKJV
But the Holy Spirit does not remove troubles, temptations, and choices.
God allows such things to teach us and help us grow.
James said, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
James 1:2-4 NKJV
Note, he said “when” not if we face troubles.
My beloved, Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.”
James 1:12-18 NKJV
Jesus made a way where there was no way. But “Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:1-5 NKJV
Therefore my beloved, as mature Christians, repentance should not be for our deliberate sin, but rather just in case we made a mistake.
Justice will always come according to both our good and evil deeds.
Therefore, “Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.”
Psalms 37:3 NKJV
My beloved, keep doing good according to the leading of the Spirit. “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
Galatians 6:9-10 NKJV
Furthermore, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
Psalms 37:4 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
