There Is No One Like You, There Is No God But You

Apply The Blood

2 SAMUEL 7:22
“Therefore You are great, O Lord God. For there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
”‭‭II Samuel‬ ‭7:22‬ ‭NKJV‬

This section (v18-22), is David’s prayer of thanksgiving, expressing his humble acceptance of God’s promise to extend his dynasty.
Overwhelmed by grace, David expresses deep humility, praises God's unique greatness, and prays for the fulfillment of the promise to bring glory to God, acknowledging his own unworthiness and God’s faithfulness.
David realised that these blessings were given to him and his descendants, that Israel might benefit from them and would help to fulfil God’s greater promise, that through the nation the whole world would be blessed (Genesis 12:1-3).
How great is our God? His plan to save us is more than just great, we cannot begin to fathom the greatness of God: The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork (19:1)
By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And all host of them by the breath of His mouth (PSALM 33:6).
There is no other God like Him; He has no equal nor rival, He is the name above every other name, and He shall reign forever.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (JOHN 14:6).
There is no other person, object, or god that can save you; despite Mary’s holiness and love for God; despite the fact that she was chosen to be the mother of Jesus Christ, she cannot give you eternal life. Nor your pastor or the pope-nor any other religious organisation, nor science or any action or good deed; nor money or status, or anything of this world.
Only Jesus can save you, and all you need to do is give your life to Him.
So often success in this life come from who you know rather than your personal abilities or qualifications; this is true of salvation.
It is impossible to be saved by good works or good deeds, for we have all already sinned.
“If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.”
‭‭I John‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Many say that God would not send “good people” to hell, but my question is, by whose standards is “good”?
They say that we are saved by grace, which is true, but grace does not override justice.
Therefore, we must be cleansed of all sin by the blood of the Lamb, who took your place and mine on a cross to justify our eternal future.
Salvation is a free gift, but one has to apply Jesus spilled blood to his or her life to receive it.
Jesus is the coming Judge who will decide your eternal future, and only by knowing and believing on Him can anyone be saved.
“For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.””
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭5‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, if you haven’t already, get to know Jesus. Go into your room, shut the door, and in private, call upon the name of Jesus; ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Start the process of developing a relationship with Him and submit to Him.
He loves you and is faithful to save all with a repentant heart. He wants no one to perish, but for all to turn to Him in repentance (2 PETER 3:9).
Peter said, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.””
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭38‬-‭39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
For “In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭11‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My beloved, the promise is extended to your children and as many of your loved ones as God chooses to call (ACTS 2:39).
This is more than “Good News”, it is “Amazingly Wonderful Good News”.
For the Holy Spirit is not only the seal of your Salvation; He is your help as you walk with God (JOHN 14:15-18)
He is your leader, teacher, and guide (JOHN 14:26).
He is your wisdom from God-and righteousness and sanctification and redemption
(1 CORINTHIANS 1:30).
Once received, nothing can stop one’s salvation; not one faults or failures, nor his sinful past or future mistakes, not his foolishness, nor poor health or even death, but he or she must apply the blood.
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭31‬-‭39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
