Turn To Our God, For He Will Forgive Generously

ISAIAH 55:6-7

“Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Isaiah tells us, “Seek the Lord while He may be found,” before it is too late. It’s not that God is planning to leave you, but so often many move far from Him or erect barriers of sin and pride that separate themselves from Him.

Ask God to help you; ask Him to put on your heart everything in your life that offends Him that you can come to Him in repentance; that is to turn from sin toward God and walk in the leading of the Holy Spirit (see JOHN 14:15-18).

Do not allow your life to be in vain; Jesus said, ““Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This worldly life is temporary and is soon to pass away, but through Christ all can have life everlasting.

Jesus made a way where there was no way; “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.””

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Maybe you think it’s too late, or that you are not good enough, or that your sin is too great. But I tell you the truth, no sin is too great for Jesus, His blood covers all sins; furthermore, no situation or sickness or addiction is too great for Him either; it’s all been paid for by the blood of the Lamb; therefore, His grace is sufficient and by His stripes you are healed (ISAIAH 53:5).

One must simply apply the blood of Jesus to his life and he will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (JOHN 14:15-18), and one’s eternal future is sealed, for “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My beloved, whatever your situation, call out to Jesus, for “it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the LORD has said, Among the remnant whom the LORD calls (JEOL 2:32).”

Don’t wait until you have drifted far from Him, the more distant He becomes, the more difficult it will be to get closer to Him later in life, or one might simply run out of time altogether.

Therefore, seek God now while you still can and you will find. Jesus said, ““Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My beloved, ““Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Therefore, make sure that you are one of the few, for eternity is a very long time.

Life in today’s world can be a struggle, but God loves you and is faithful in every situation to all who call upon His name.

He may not give you riches or fame in this worldly life, but He is faithful to provide our every need.

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭31‬-‭34‬ NKJV

All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
