The Lord Is Near To All Who Call Upon Him, To All Who Call Him In Truth
David's Song Of Majesty & Love (psalm 145)
PSALM 145:14-18
“The Lord upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.
”Psalms 145:14-18 NKJV

God is a compassionate sustainer who actively helps the fallen. He provides for all living creatures and remains near to those who sincerely call upon His name.
These verses bring balance to God’s majestic power with His intimate care, promising strength to the weak, food to the hungry, and righteous grace to the brokenhearted.
Sometimes it seems our burdens are far more than we can bear and wonder how we can go on.
David stands at this bleak intersection of life's road and meditates on the Lord, the great burden bearer.
God is able to lift us up because of His greatness (145:3); He does mighty acts for each generation (145:4); He is full of majestic, glorious splendour (145:5); He does awe-inspiring deeds (145:5-6); He is righteous (145:7) He is loving, kind, merciful, patient, and compassionate (145:8-9); He rules over an everlasting Kingdom (145:13); He is the source of all our daily needs (145:15-16); He is kind and righteous in all of His dealings (145:17); He remains close to all those who call on Him (145:18); He hears our cries and rescues us (145:19-20).
If you are crumbling under the weight of burden, turn to God, bow before Him, for He is ready, willing, and able to take the weight off of your shoulders and lift you up.
Nothing is too big for our amazing, all powerful God. When God is for you, who can be against you (ROMANS 8:31-39).
But if one wants to experience the provision and blessings of the Lord, if one wants to experience the joy of the Lord, if one wants wants to receive the peace of the Lord, he must seek Him, call upon Him, and put His trust in Him alone.
“”Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.“
Matthew 6:25-34 NKJV
My beloved, seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and ALL shall be added to you.
Jesus spilled blood paid it all-it covers your health, wealth and relationships; it covers even your children and as many of your loved ones as the Lord chooses to call (ACTS 2:38-39).
But my beloved, “Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:1-5 NKJV

Make David’s psalm your personal commitment to worship; make his psalm your prayer of today.
Speak it out from your heart and lift our God high above all other gods:
“I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts. I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, And on Your wondrous works. Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, And I will declare Your greatness. They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness, And shall sing of Your righteousness. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall praise You, O Lord, And Your saints shall bless You. They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, And talk of Your power, To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, And the glorious majesty of His kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations. The Lord upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. The Lord preserves all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy. My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord, And all flesh shall bless His holy name Forever and ever.”
Psalms 145:1-21 NKJV
