These words of Jesus Christ are an encouragement for all believers and a magnet to all others.
Eternal life begins the very moment you accept Him as your Saviour. In that very moment your new life begins (2 CORINTHIANS 5:17).
You may face physical death, but you have confidence through Christ resurrection, that when He returns, your body will be resurrected and you shall live forever (1 CORINTHIANS 15).
One cannot earn or purchase his or her new life in Christ. No amount of money or status can help you.
No other person, pastor, or god, or action can save you from the debt of sin. No other person or god can authorise your new life in Christ.
Jesus is the ultimate judge and He shall return to judge the world. There’s no right to appeal, when it’s done, it’s done! Your eternal future is set!
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 NKJV
Only through Christ can one be saved.
And it is this simple, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9 NKJV
Jesus does not want you to struggle, facing the same old troubles day after day. He came to give you abundant life (10:10); “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.”
II Corinthians 8:9 NKJV
This is not a promise of financial abundance, but God will provide all your needs. Nor is it a promise you that you shall be free from trouble.
However, He is happy to provide all your needs and give you His peace that will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (PHILIPPIANS 4:13).
All you need do is ask and believe and His joy will be added to you, which is your strength (NEHEMIAH 8:10).
Truly I tell you, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD.”
Jeremiah 17:7 NKJV
He is more than a multi-millionaire.
“”Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
