Give Your Bodies To God Because Of All He Has Done For You

Present Your Bodies A Living Sacrifice

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬

These verses are a foundational Christian passage where the Apostle Paul calls believers to respond to God’s grace by offering their entire lives as an ongoing act of worship. It shifts the focus from Old Testament temple sacrifices to a daily, practical way of living dedicated to God.
Paul urges believers to present their bodies as a "living sacrifice". Instead of offering dead animals on an altar, Christians are called to offer their everyday, breathing lives to God as an act of worship and gratitude.
It means giving every aspect of their lives to Christ, and to put down their own goals and cravings and accept God’s plans and purposes for their lives.
This goes against our very nature because we humans have a natural desire to accumulate wealth, power, a comfortable lifestyle, the best house, car, and so much more. Yet Paul tells us to put it all down and present yourself a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. He tells us to put to death our personal goals and submit to God’s will entirely.

That's not to say we believers shouldn't have a comfortable lifestyle or nice things, it means we should hold wealth and material blessings with an open hand.

Obedience may seem impossible when He calls you to another country, or told to let go of people and things that are important to you. Sometimes it doesn’t make any sense or even biblical, it may even seem wrong or weird, but I encourage you, that God’s plan for your life is way above anything that you can imagine; it is the best you can ever have, and He’s always right.
Believers are told not to be "conformed to this world" (meaning they should not allow the surrounding secular culture to squeeze them into its mold). Instead, they should be "transformed by the renewing of their minds". This inner change helps them discern and align their lives with God's perfect will for them and all eternity.
Worship is not limited to Sunday services or singing; it includes every action, choice, and relationship in your daily life. By every act of obedience you honour your God. But by every act of disobedience, we not only rebel against Him, we are actually saying we are right and He is wrong-like we know more than Him, which is very disrespectful to the Most High.

When God gives us an instruction that challenges us, it is good to keep reminding ourselves that God is always right, that He knows your heart better than you, and however your mission is challenging you, Jesus has done far more. He died the most painful, humiliating death on a cross to pay your debt of sin-not His, yours, and without that random act of kindness, life would be hopeless.

We people may well think we know what is good for us, but our good is nothing more than vanity. God's plans and purposes for our lives cannot be matched, but one has to let go of the old,  receive it as a gift, unwrap it and believe it to experience the blessing and be made perfect and complete and needing nothing (JAMES 1:2-4).

Putting aside what others think and removing every inhibition and walking in your calling shall make you not just feel whole, you will be whole.

Therefore, actively evaluate societal norms and do not adopt the selfish, materialistic, or "me-first" patterns of the world, but rather, put on the nature of Christ and retrain your thoughts to match biblical truth that allows you to properly evaluate situations and understand what is good and pleasing to God in your life.
All glory be to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
