I Command You This Day To Love The Lord Your God And Keep His Commands, Decrees, & Regulations
Choose Today, Life Or Death, Blessing or Cursing
DEUTERONOMY 30:15-20
“”See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

Moses tells it as it is: We have a choice, life or death. Our response to God should not be delayed.
Making the assumption there will be a later day to respond to God is dangerous thinking.
Either we love God and walk in His ways, or we turn from Him to worship other gods-idols: money, lifestyle, status, the things of this world.
God takes no pleasure in the misery of sinners, but urges us to choose life, not only for our good, but for the good of future unborn generations.
Moses challenged Israel to choose life, to love and obey God, and continue to experience His blessings.
But the truth is, God does not force His will on anyone, He gave us free will to choose whether to follow Him or reject Him. The decision is however a life-or-death matter-blessings or cursing.
God wants us to realise the impact of our decision; He wants us to choose life.
We believers must affirm and reinforce this commitment daily in every aspect of our lives, living in obedience to God.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 NKJV
Many believe that there are many ways to salvation, but the truth is, the only way to our Father in heaven is through Jesus Christ.
Give your life to Him today with a simple prayer, for tomorrow might well be too late.
It’s not a difficult process, salvation cannot be purchased by money, status, or good works.
It is too late for that, for we have all sinned.
Whilst it is true that we are saved by grace, grace does not override justice, if it did, Jesus would have had no reason to die a criminal’s death on a cross.
But by faith alone, His spilled blood that paid it all is applied to one’s life and he or she is “born again” into God family and he or she is saved.
“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.””
