Whoever Can Be Trusted With Very Little Can Also Be Trusted With Much, And Whoever Is Dishonest With Very Little Will Also Be Dishonest With Much

Keep Your Integrity

LUKE 16:10-11
“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
”‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:10-11‬ ‭NKJV‬

God calls us to be honest in the finest of detail, yet is so easily ignored.
Our integrity is put on the line particularly in what we have to say and money matters, but in other matters too.
How can one be trusted with the riches of heaven which are far more valuable than earthly wealth, if he or she cannot be trusted not to steal the pen that was put out for public use in the bank, or use the company phone or data for personal use without permission, or help his or herself to a sweet in a packed bag of sweets that someone left on the side, or simply to return your shopping trolley to the right place when you have been shopping.
Why would God trust you with large amounts of money when you can’t manage a monthly budget without continually over spending on the unnecessary?
Helping oneself to that pen in the bank, or to a sweet from that packed bag of sweets that are not yours amounts to stealing.
Wasting money however little amounts to foolishness.
God wants us to have enjoyment and a blessed life style, but overindulgence makes us fat not just in the flesh, but with pride.
Furthermore, if you cannot zip your mouth and fall into gossip, how can you ever see yourself as a friend to anyone?
“A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18‬:‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Therefore, be wise and honest in the finest detail and don’t allow riches to puff you up, but rather, use Gods blessings to glorify our Father in heaven.
If we can’t be trusted in the seemingly tiny unimportant things, surely we cannot be trusted in things of great value.
If we cannot stand against the temptation of small, seemingly unimportant things, how can we stand against the temptation of those things that have great power or value?
My beloved, God does not give us more than we can handle, particularly in money, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of Lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.“
‭‭I Timothy‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
We believers are called to maintain our integrity in all matters however big or small.
My brethren, we live in a world of pure evil; temptation surrounds us and many have slipped into the darkness.
The truth is, this world cannot continue on this path of destruction for much longer, and as promised, Jesus Christ is soon to return in all His glory to bring upon this earth His judgment.
My beloved, now would be a good time to “Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
Please like and share to our brothers and sisters all around the world.
