The Word Became Flesh And Made His Dwelling Among Us
We Have Seen His Glory
JOHN 1:14
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
”John 1:14 NKJV

The Word (God JOHN 1:1-5) became flesh," and by doing so, Christ became the perfect man, God in human form; the perfect teacher, leader, and guide, who lived among us.
In Jesus' life we can see to a degree how God thinks, and therefore how we should think (PHILIPPIANS 2:5-11).
Jesus, the perfect model; the perfect example of what we as Christians are to become, He shows us how to live, and by the power and leadership of the indwelling Holy Spirit, He gives us the help we need (JOHN 14:15-18) and the power to live that way (1 PETER 2:21). He gives us the desire to do what pleases Him and the power to do it (PHILIPPIANS 2:13).
That doesn't mean we become like robots, we still have free will, our individual personalities, abilities, spiritual gifts, likes and dislikes; but we learn by God’s Word, through interaction with Him in prayer, dreams and visions, and by following the example Jesus gave us, to be pleasing to God; only then can we receive the rich and satisfying life God planned for us and become Christ like in our actions and responses by putting on our new Christ like character.
Christ Jesus made life possible by paying our debt of sin on a cross; He became the perfect sacrifice for all our sins, and His death satisfied God's requirements for our sins (COLOSSIANS 1:15-23) and justifies our nee life in Christ.
"The only begotten Son of the Father” Jesus is God's unique Son, (only begotten Son), the emphasis is on unique-He is God in human form (PHILIPPIANS 2:5-8).
Christ Jesus is one of a kind and enjoys a relationship with God, who made it His purpose as a human to be our Saviour and undo the evil works of the devil (JOHN 3:16).
This scripture is the perfect proof of the deity of Christ; that He is God and became human.
“Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians 2:6-11 NLT
When Jesus was conceived, God became a man, not part God and part man; He was fully God and fully man-completely Divine (COLOSSIANS 2-9). But He didn't think of His Divine privileges as something to cling to as He faced the same trials and challenges and even more that life throws at us (PHILIPPIANS 2:6).
Indeed, as He faced the cross, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?””
Matthew 27:46 NKJV
My beloved, God faced every trial and every challenge, and the pain, humiliation, and suffering not by His power and abilities as God, but as a human being.
He clearly knows and understands exactly how we feel as we face the trials and challenges of life-He went through it all.
Therefore, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.”
Proverbs 18:10 NKJV
Before Christ came, we could know God partially. After Christ came, we could know Him fully because He became visible and tangible in Christ Jesus.
He is the perfect expression of God in human form. The two most common errors that people make about Jesus are to minimise His humanity or to minimise his Divinity.
Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man. He knows our needs because He experienced life as a human, and He is both able and faithful to provide all our needs, and all you need do is believe.
The truth is, ““Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
