Christ Was Offered Once For All Time As A Sacrifice To Take Away The Sins Of Many People

At The Cross

HEBREWS 9:24-28
“For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another— He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
”‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:24-28‬ ‭NKJV‬

Pretty much all people die physically, their was a couple of exceptions and at the end, some won’t see death (GENESIS 5:24; 2 KINGS 2:11; LUKE 9:27), but Jesus died so that we can all live even after our own death.
We can be confident in His life saving work for us, that does away with the power of sin-past, present, and future.
Our God has forgiven all our sins, and when He died on the cross, He sacrificed Himself once and for all time (9:26), and He has given us the Holy Spirit to help us (JOHN 14:15-18), not to be obedient to the Law, but to live by grace, as He leads us in His righteousness.
Furthermore, He appears before God in heaven for us now (9:24); and He promised to return (9:28) and rase us to eternal life into a world where sin and death will be gone forever.
The "the end of the age" refers to the time of Christ coming to earth in fulfilment of the Old Testament prophecies.
Christ ushered in the new era of grace and forgiveness. We are living in the "end of the age." The day of the Lord has begun and will be completed when He returns.
Judgement isn't a popular theme today, but the bible teaches us that judgement is coming.
As certain as death itself, judgement awaits.
At God's judgement there will be no high court of appeal should judgement go against you. If you hope for a favourable verdict in this court, you must put your hope entirely in Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to the Father in heaven (JOHN 14:6).
If you haven't already, pray for the freedom and the pardon Jesus has bought for you when He died on the cross. Then rejoice that God's judgement will be based on the perfect life of Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Salvation is a gift from God; it is too late for obedience-we have all sinned-we have all broken God’s Laws and decrees.
Just as when one gets caught speeding by that camera, the penalty notice is on its way along with the day of judgment.
Jesus came and payed your penalty. It is a free gift, but to receive it, one must believe it.
Gods gift of grace comes to all who believe, but like any gift, you have to unwrap to receive it and walk in it.
Salvation is not a complicated process.
One’s life style cannot stop it, nor can one’s skin colour lack of ability, or any sin however great.
“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.””
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:8-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
No qualifications are needed, yet good works cannot save you.
Your money can’t buy your salvation and you can’t take it with you.
Today, make the decision to know Christ Jesus that you can believe on Him, for tomorrow may well be too late.
Go into your room, shut the door and call out to Jesus, for “The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.’”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:20-21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
