God, Who Began The Good Work Within You, Will Continue His Work Until Jesus Returns
God's Plan Is The Best Plan
PHILIPPIANS 1:6
“being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;”
Philippians 1:6 NKJV

Our Almighty God began His work at the beginning of His creation, and continues until His plans are fulfilled and completely finished.
We damaged His work in us with sin which separated us from God, but having paid our debt of sin with His own blood, Jesus starts His work of restoration within each of us from the very moment we commit our individual lives to Him, and He will continue His work in us until it is finally finished when Christ Jesus returns.
The truth is, God never stops working in our lives, once in His hands, He begins to mould us and shape us into the people He originally planned us to be.
As Isaiah told us, “But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand.”
Isaiah 64:8 NKJV
My brethren we are a living progress, progressively growing in purity and maturity in Christ; His work within us transforms us by the renewing of our minds, that we become more Christ-like in our very nature, in our ability to make good decisions in God’s wisdom, and to stand firm against the temptations of the world.
Paul said, “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”
Philippians 2:12-13 NKJV
Paul shows us the steps in Romans on how to receive God’s good work of renewing one’s mind.
He said, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Romans 12:1-2 NKJV
Paul tells us:
1) Present your bodies a living sacrifice-Commit your life to Christ and live life in obedience to His word, His leading, holy and acceptable to Him, for that is the least you can do.
2) Do not be conformed to this world, but rather separate yourself from such things, like wild parties, drunkenness, sexual immorality, and and fake religions.
Furthermore, don’t be sucked in by the fake news media that penetrates your emotions so that you believe the lies and drag you back into sin, nor rely on things such as status and money, tarot cards, spiritualism, horoscopes, or any kind of divination, but rather put your trust in Jesus, build relationship with God, cooperate with Him by following the leading of the Holy Spirit, living for Christ, in cooperation with God.
3) And then, with your cooperation, God will renew your mind, so that
4), you shall become transformed by your renewed mind, and that
5), you will be able discern and understand what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God in your life; you will know God’s will for you.
All of the old religious practices and sacrifices are no longer necessary, with exception to communion, for Christ paid it all. He was the Lamb that was slain (REVELATION 13:8).
God has a wonderful plan for each and every one of us. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
Only you can stop God’s plan of peace in your life; His plan that gives you a future and a hope. All you need do to receive it, believe it and cooperate in obedience to Him.
But I tell you the truth, their really isn’t any point coming against God, though many try, for no one can stop God’s plans and purposes (PROVERBS 19:21).
My beloved, we all have a choice; it’s my way or God’s way.
Jesus is the only way to peace, joy, contentment, and life everlasting (JOHN 14:6).
“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.”
Psalms 20:7 NKJV
Money and status may feel good, but like those chariots and horses which are fallible and temporary, give a false sense of security. But the joy of Christ is eternal and is our strength (NEHEMIAH 8:10), furthermore, the peace of God surpasses all understanding and guards our hearts and minds through Christ (PHILIPPIANS 4:6).
Therefore, I will put my trust in the name of the Lord, for:
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
