Walk by The Spirit And You Will Not Satisfy The Desires Of The Flesh
The Works Of The Flesh Are Sin
GALATIANS 5:19-21
“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
”Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV

Is it not these practices that have made our world the dark evil place it is? Surety it is time for change-time for us believers to walk in the Spirit and put into practice everything we have been taught by the Him, that we live our lives in a way that is pleasing to God.
My brethren it is time to nail our former sinful selves to the cross that the old man is really dead, that we really become true born again believers of Christ, presenting our bodies a living sacrifice to the Lord, holy and acceptable to Him, for this is the least we can do (ROMANS 22:1-2).
My beloved, since the works of the flesh evidently bring sin and destruction; “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.”
Galatians 5:16-18 NKJV
It’s not always easy to walk in the Spirit, for the flesh and its cravings lusts against the Spirit.
The devil knows your weaknesses and will bring every temptation and situation that may drag you back into your sinful nature. He will whisper and justify the desires of the flesh; he will do everything he can to steal, kill, and destroy your life, but if you trust and cooperate with God and stand firm, Jesus will give you life-in deed, abundant life (JOHN 10:10).
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV
But we watchful, for the heart being part of the flesh can and will drag you back into sin.
““The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?”
Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV
Don’t allow your deceitful heart to drag you back into sin; it’s goal is to please the flesh and if allowed will produce rotten fruit. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
Galatians 5:22-26 NKJV
My beloved, It's time to change! God gave you the gift of the Holy Spirit, a helper to lead you step by step in this dark world (JOHN 14:15-18).
His word is a lamp unto your feet and shall if you take it in, light up the path before you (PSALM 119:105). Therefore read it, take it in, and obey, not leaning on your own understanding, but ask God for understanding and revelation, and God Himself shall direct your steps (PROVERBS 3:5-6).
He has made every provision and given every instruction to keep us on the path of salvation.
Surely, now is the time to cooperate with Him and walk in the Spirit and produce the kind of fruits that are pleasing to God-the kind of fruit that leave a sweet taste of goodness in one’s mouth.
All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
